Vegan & Faux Leather Finds
Adding a little bit of leather or faux leather to your wardrobe can add some pizzazz and sexiness. But for me, it also adds confidence! When I wear leather, faux leather, or vegan leather, I feel SO edgy and modern…it always puts a little spring in my step. Maybe you feel the same way or maybe you feel the exact opposite. In this post, I’m sharing 10 vegan and faux leather pieces that are so good and will add some excitement to your closet. I’ve included small and easy pieces to incorporate into your wardrobe for those of you who aren’t quite sure how you feel about leather. AND, I’ve included show-stopping pieces for those of you who really love leather.
#1) Cinq A Sept Vegan Leather Dress
First up is this gorgeous Cinq à Sept vegan leather dress. Everything about this dress is SO good…the long sleeves with bell cuffs, the flattering twist front detail, the flattering v-neckline, and the beautiful deep brown color. If you have a holiday party or just want a fabulous vegan leather dress in your dress rotation, this one is perfection! I styled it with some cool geometric dot patterned tights and some Michael Kors faux leather booties that are so chic and sexy (more on those coming soon).
By the way, if you’re looking for even more winter dresses, make sure you check out this post next. Plus, you can find our Holiday Capsule Wardrobe here if you want more holiday outfit inspo!
#2) Generation Love Faux Leather & Shearling Moto Jacket
Next up is this cool and edgy faux leather and shearling moto jacket by Generation Love. It has an interesting texture that makes it look shiny and distressed at the same time. I love the shearling trim around the cuffs, hem, and collar. And the gold zippers and buckles around the cuffs make it feel edgy and chic. You can wear this over a flowy maxi dress for a cool look or style it like I did with jeans, a tee, and booties!
#3) Cinq a Sept Vegan Leather Blazer
This vegan leather Cinq a Sept blazer is SO beautiful. It’s the same material and color as the dress in #1 but the dark brown color is even more rich and luxe in person. The fit of this blazer is incredibly flattering. It has a slight fit and flare silhouette that cinches the waist and creates the illusion of an hourglass shape. I also love the pockets on the front! I styled it with the same white tee and jeans from the previous look. But this blazer is so versatile that you could wear it with everything from dresses and skirts to pants and jeans.
#4) Alice + Olivia Vegan Leather Trench
This is a pricier option but it’s SO gorgeous that I just had to share. This Alice + Olivia trench in the color Toffee is a serious show-stopper. It has luxe vegan leather, buckle cuffs, an oversized collar, a flattering buckle belt, and a double-breasted front closure. I’m wearing it over a pair of jeans and a sweater, but you could throw this on over any outfit to add some extra oomph.
#5) Generation Love Faux Leather Cargo Joggers
The next faux leather piece is this pair of cargo joggers by Generation Love. These are a super edgy and fun way to add leather to your wardrobe! They have a comfy elastic waistband, cinched cuffs, and on-trend cargo pockets on the sides. Just trust me, these look even more luxe in person and the fit is lovely. They are a tiny bit too long on me so that’s something to consider if you’re petite (‘m 5’4”). I paired the joggers with a pre-layered sweater by Cinq a Sept but you could style them with a basic white tee and sneakers or a classic sweater and booties. They’re more versatile than you think!
#6) Michael Kors Faux Leather Booties
On my feet, I’m wearing a pair of Michael Kors faux leather booties. You may have noticed these in a few of the previous looks and I’m even wearing the brown pair in look #3. Yes, I thought they looked so cool I ordered them in two colors! And I’m glad I did because they did not disappoint. They’re super sexy, unique, and easy to style. The sock bootie silhouette means they’ll work with any pair of jeans, dresses, and skirts. This is a great way to dip your toe into the trend if you’re not ready to commit to outerwear, a dress, or pants quite yet.
#7) DKNY Faux Leather Puffer
This DKNY faux leather puffer is such a great cozy and casual piece to have in your closet. It has a more oversized fit, a stand collar, and high-low detail on the side that’s super flattering. The look and feel of the faux leather is also quite nice. Oh, and it’s on sale for under $100 right now! You can throw this on over jeans and a tee for errands or over your workout clothes to and from the gym…it’s just one of those easy pieces that’s super versatile! I styled it with a sweater, faux leather pants (more on those below), and sneakers.
#8) Spanx Faux Leather Flare Pants
If these pants look familiar, it’s because I just shared them in this super helpful post with tips on how to style faux leather pants and leggings. These Spanx faux leather pants are so modern and very flattering! The faux leather looks so luxe, the fabric has some stretch but not too much stretch, and they have the core shaping technology that Spanx has in most of their clothing that we all know and love. I appreciate the flared leg silhouette because it’s flattering for my body shape, and it makes the pants feel dressier. They’re a pull-on style but have seams that make them look like they have a zipper and pockets.
They run a little small. I’m wearing a Petite Small, but could also probably be happy in the medium. You can dress them down a bit by styling them with the puffer, sweater, and sneakers but make sure you check out this post to see how you can dress them up!
#9) Spanx Faux Leather Leggings
It should be no surprise that the Spanx faux leather leggings are on this list! They’re such a good basic to have in your wardrobe. They have built-in shapewear creating the smoothest and most flattering look around the tummy. This exact pair is also fleece-lined, which makes them a must-have for those of you who live in cold climates! They also don’t have a center seam which means no dreaded camel-toe. If you don’t need the extra warmth, you could also try the regular Faux Leather Leggings. Both leggings run long so if you’re petite, get the petite version in your normal size. I’m wearing a Petite Small and I’m 5’4”. I styled them with a long pre-layered cashmere sweater by C by Bloomingdale’s and a pair of waterproof moto boots to add some more edge.

#10) Macy’s Leather Gloves
If you’re still feeling unsure about wearing leather, start small with something like this pair of cashmere-lined leather gloves. They have tech-friendly fingers so you can still use your phone while you have them on. They’re warm, elegant, and come in 8 colors. These would also make a wonderful holiday gift and they’re on sale right now for $40!
